Jordan is a passionate advocate. During college, he volunteered with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, defending foster children from criminal punishment and fighting to protect their educational rights. In recognition of his dedication to clients, Jordan was selected as the Legal Aid Center’s 2021 “Advocate of the Year” out of over 100 attorney and student volunteers. He was also awarded the Certificate of Commendation from United States Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Steven Horsford. Jordan continued fighting for others while working at Wooldridge Law Firm, where he successfully helped defend clients in multiple, high-stakes jury trials. Jordan is currently attending The University of Texas School of Law. In his first year, he helped free a prisoner who had been unjustly incarcerated for 3 years. He was also recognized for his unique research and analytical skills by receiving UT Law’s “Best Memo Award,” which is reserved for the top 5% of students. Jordan is currently working at the Harris County Public Defender’s Office and will serve as a student attorney in the UT Law Criminal Defense Clinic this coming Fall.
